What's new in the AgentSmith app
The AgentSmith app puts your agent on your phone, so you can talk to it, send it photos and files, and answer its questions wherever you are. Sign in with the same email and password as your Command Center.
The app is invite only. It works for AgentSmith clients once we've connected their agent to it, so if you're a client and would like it, email [email protected]. On Android, download the app here, and when a new version comes out the app shows a card, so you tap Update to install it. The Android setup guide walks through the first install step by step. On iPhone and iPad, open the web app in Safari, then tap Share and Add to Home Screen.
Every update is listed below, newest first.
0.2.2 October 15, 2026
If your plan comes with a monthly allowance, the Agent tab now shows how much of it is left as a percentage, with a bar and the date it renews. When it gets close to the end, a button takes you to the page where you can move up to a bigger plan. Plans without an allowance look the same as before.
0.2.1 October 4, 2026
Files your agent sends now open inside the app instead of sending you to another app.
- Photos show right in the chat, and you can pinch or double-tap to zoom.
- Videos and recordings play in the app, and you can skip ahead.
- PDFs open page by page, with pinch and double-tap zoom so the small print is readable on a phone.
- Excel and CSV files open as tables with a tab for each sheet, and Word documents, notes and text files open as pages.
- Web pages your agent makes open in a sealed frame that can't see your account or anything else in the app.
- Anything the app can't show, like a zip file, has an Open in another app button.
We also fixed a problem in voice messages from 0.2.0, where silence or background noise was sometimes turned into a word or two and sent to your agent. Now the app tells you it couldn't hear anything.
0.2.0 October 4, 2026
You can send your agent voice messages. When the message box is empty, the microphone takes the place of the Send button, so you tap it, talk and tap send. The app turns your voice into text, your agent answers it, and the chat shows what you said in a voice bubble. It understands Chinese, English, Cantonese, Japanese and Korean, and in our tests a 12-second message became text in about 5 seconds.
0.1.9 October 4, 2026
You can choose how hard your agent thinks. The setting sits in the message box and goes from Off up to the highest level your agent's model offers, and you can use it for one conversation or make it the default for new ones.
0.1.8 October 4, 2026
Settings now has Password. Tap it and we email you a link to set a new password, sent to the address you signed in with.
0.1.7 October 4, 2026
We fixed History skipping conversations. In 0.1.6, if you had pinned conversations, Show older left out one conversation for every pin, and now every conversation shows.
0.1.6 October 3, 2026
You can pin conversations. Press and hold a conversation in History to pin it, and pinned conversations stay at the top under Pinned.
0.1.5 October 3, 2026
- A small ring in the message box shows how much of the conversation's memory is used. It turns gold at 70% and red at 90%, and tapping it explains what happens when it fills up and lets you start a new conversation.
- Listen reads replies aloud in a natural voice, and you can pick one of three English or three Chinese voices in Settings, under Reading voice. If the voice service can't be reached, your phone's own voice reads instead.
0.1.4 October 3, 2026
- Your agent can ask you questions and ask for permission in the chat, and you answer with one tap or a typed reply. Before this, a question from your agent had no way to be answered in the app, so the agent waited.
- When your agent needs a decision while you're away, you get a notification, and the question waits in History under Needs your OK until you answer.
- You can send your agent files like PDFs, Word documents and spreadsheets, and files your agent mentions show up as buttons you can open or share.
- On Android you can share text, links, pictures and documents to AgentSmith from any other app.
- The Agent tab can set up a morning briefing from your agent at a time you choose, in your own time zone, and it shows what your agent did this month.
- Under an answer, the app shows what your agent checked to get it, for example your calendar or your CRM.
- History can search all your conversations and goes back past the first 20.
- Settings has Your data, where you can see where your agent's data is kept, download all your conversations as one file, or ask us to delete them.
- Request a change sends a change you want, or a request for a monthly review, straight to our team.
- Listen reads a reply aloud with your phone's voice.
- The iPhone web app can show notifications once it's on your Home Screen.
- On Android there's a home screen widget with your agent's name, how many questions are waiting for you, and a button to ask something new.
0.1.3 October 3, 2026
- Replies are formatted with lists, bold text and links, and while your agent works, the chat says what it's doing, like checking your location.
- Each reply has Copy and Try again, and a button takes you back to the latest message.
- The whole app is in Simplified Chinese on phones set to Chinese.
- The app's fonts are now built in, because the ones it used to load from the internet are blocked in mainland China.
- If you open the app with no internet, it waits and retries instead of sending you back to the sign-in screen, and if the connection drops, it reconnects and keeps showing the reply your agent is writing.
- The Android back button closes menus and goes back a screen.
- We fixed a crash when you left the app and came straight back, for example after opening a link or the camera.
The iPhone and iPad web app came out the same day. It's the same app in Safari, and once you add it to your Home Screen it opens full screen with its own icon. It can't read your calendar, because Apple doesn't let websites do that.
0.1.2 October 3, 2026
- History is grouped by when you last used a conversation instead of when you started it, so a conversation from an hour ago no longer sits under Earlier.
- Some phone makers, including Xiaomi, Huawei, OPPO and vivo, stop apps in the background to save battery, which also stops your notifications. Settings now has a button that opens the right page on your phone, so you can let AgentSmith keep running.
0.1.1 October 3, 2026
The app can update itself. When a new version is ready you see a card in the app, you tap Update, and before installing, the app checks that the download matches the version we published, so nothing else can be installed in its place.
0.1.0 October 3, 2026
The first Android release. You can chat with your agent, send it photos or take one with the camera, and get a notification when your agent messages you, even while the app is in the background. Notifications don't need Google services, so they work on phones sold in mainland China. When you allow it, your agent can check your location and your calendar, and it can add calendar events, which you approve with a tap each time.
